Many community groups (for example, the police, farming associations, or municipal health and safety departments) hold special safety events. The War Amps is often asked to participate. What a great way to spread our safety messages!

War Amps safety displays are normally hosted by Child Amputee (Champs) Safety Ambassadors or CHAMP Graduates. They use colourful, effective, and eye-catching display boards. Information is provided on The War Amps and our many safety messages including PLAYSAFE!, SAFETY WALK and DRIVESAFE!. Handouts are made available and, where possible, our safety videos are played.

If you would like to invite The War Amps to one of your own safety events, please contact the PLAYSAFE Department. Four to six weeks lead time is required to arrange for a War Amps representative to attend.

We will do our best to find a suitable representative to meet your needs. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to fulfill each request. In a case where no representative is available, we will be pleased to provide you with any of our video productions as an alternative. We will also send you a supply of printed materials which make ideal hand-outs.
